The town of Rajsamand is the district headquarters. The Rajsamand name is given after thr  Rajsamand Lake , it is  artificially  created lake which was built in  17th century by Rana Raj Singh . Rajsamand was crowned as a  district on 10 April 1991 which was parted  from Udaipur district.

Dwarkadhish  Temple / द्वारिकाधीश मंदिर 
શ્રી કૃષ્ણ જી કી જય

Dwarkadhish Temple is very beautiful temple situated on the bank of rajsamand lake and is a well known tourist attraction  located in Kankroli . The temple is also titled  by the natives  as ‘Kankroli Temple’. Lord  Krishna is worshiped as the diety of this temple. Here the idol of lord krishna is worshiped with full devotion , love and care. 

The idol is of red stone which  have been brought from Mathura area . The temple was built by Maharana Raj Singh I in 1676.The original worshipers  here are of  Vaishnavas and the Vallabhacharya .

This temple is about 65 km from Udaipur city and is beautifulluy located at the bank  of Rajsamand Lake. 

श्रीनाथजी मंदिर Shrinathji Temple

Shrinathji  was brought from vrindavan to Nathdwara to Protect it  from  the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Aurangzeb in 1665  deliberately destroying Hindu Templesand  the area of Vrindavan . The idol was then taken from there to keep it safe while going through the route the chariot was stuck in mud in the sihad area  which was took as a indication of god and there after the temple was built  here in this area now called Nathdwara .This town is on the bank of river Banas.

राजसमन्द झील | Rajsamand Lake 

Rajsamand Lake is popular lakes of Mewar region . It is about  66 km in the north of Udaipur , Rajsamand Lake covers the cities of Rajnagar and Kankroli. This Lake was built by Maharana Raj Singh in  the year 1660.

नौचोक्की पाल  | Nauchoki Pal 

राजसमंद के दर्शनीय स्थलों में नौ चोकी का नाम प्रमुख रुप से लिया जाता है । सीधे शब्दों हम यह कह सकते हें कि यहां पर हर कलाकृति नौ के जोड से बनी हुई है । यहां कि विशेशता है कि हर नौ सीढ़ीयों के बाद एक बडी चौकी या चौखटा आता है । यहां पर तीन तोरण बने हुए थे पर रखरखाव के अभाव में अब सिर्फ एक ही साबूत बचा हुआ है, यह तोरण भी नौ पथ्थरों के जोड से ही बना हुआ है । हिन्दु धर्म में नौ अंक का बेहद महत्व है, कहते हें कि नौ ग्रह होते हें, नौ दिन नवरात्री के होते हें, नौ रत्न कि भी अपनी एक अलग पहचान है, अतः यह नौ चोकी भी इसी परम्परा का निर्वाह करती है। यहां तीन छतरीयां हैं जो कि संगमरमर के सफेद पथ्थरों से बनी हुई है और इन पर जो बारीक खुदाई का कार्य किया हुआ है वो वाकई में लाजवाब है । यहां के शिल्प की जितनी तारीफ की जाए वह कम है, छतरीयों के स्तंभ, किनारे और छत आदि पर बेल बुटे, हाथी, घोडे, विभिन्न प्रकार के फूल एवं कृष्ण लीला आदि दर्शाए गए हैं। पथ्थरों पर बहुत ही बारीक खुदाई का कार्य किया हूआ है|
